From an extra year of waiting to a new object
An additional year of waiting for the Koenigsegg Gemera became an unexpected development opportunity for Prof. Dr. Bodo W. Lambertz.
Instead of measuring the waiting time in weeks, he began measuring it in sketches. Inspired by Christian von Koenigsegg's engineering philosophy, the question was not how to copy the Gemera's design, but how to transfer the same courage to unite construction, function and emotion into another medium.
From this idea grew a project, and from the project came two sculptural APANI Music Transformers, conceived as independent technical objects with their own character. The garage became a listening room, with the Gemera at its centre and two Music Transformers waiting alongside it.
After around 22 months, the designs and essential construction concepts had taken shape, and the development also set the APANI Collection in motion. What began as waiting became creating.
The best way to wait is to invent.
